Meaghan and Eric
The second cool couple I get to hang out with is Meaghan and Eric!

A little from Meaghan’s email:
“Hi Kateryn (Katch – can I call you that?)! …First I wanted to say thanks for doing this! It’s so inspiring to see business people (and especially women) be confident enough to take risks and be bold in getting the word out about their talents, and it’s such a wonderful gift for the lucky ducks who win!
….We’ve been together for 7 years (as of last Monday, although neither of us remembered until Tuesday!) and there are probably less than 5 pictures of us together – good ones, anyways. See, I fancy myself something of an (extremely) amateur photographer, so there are lots of pictures of just Eric, lots of pictures of our feet together, and some terrible selfies where you can see my entire arm across the bottom of the photo, but very few honest-to-goodness NICE photos of us…It would be so nice to have some really good shots of us together, just hanging out and having fun, without those awkward school-photo grins (or the weird thumbs-up I always seem to do – it’s a panic thing). It’s maybe a bit vain of me, but I want us to be able to show our future kids that mom and dad were pretty good lookin’ back in the day!
….About us… we half-joke about being very “boring,” because we’re happiest hanging out eating, walking our dog (a goofball of a great dane), reading, running…
Hmm, let’s see, writing about yourself is a bit like trying to write a grocery list – you know there’s stuff you need, but your mind blanks as soon as pen touches paper (mine does, anyways). One of the things I like best about our relationship is that our friends say that they enjoy hanging out with us as a couple, because we aren’t mushy and we don’t drag out our dirty laundry (and truthfully, we don’t really have any – our biggest disagreements tend to be about who has to pick up the dog poop or what direction something is in).”
Meaghan and Eric struck me as a couple I’d really enjoy photographing–and who would really appreciate the moments captured in the photos. Its really that simple, I can’t wait to meet these two and give them photos to put in their family albums (that are currently empty!) Thanks Meaghan and Eric!
